So how do our products come about? In this blog, we describe our development journey from the initial idea to a product that really proves itself in practice. Read on!<\/p>\n

The first step: a question<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Sometimes a customer asks: \u2018Do you have anything for battery powered hedge trimmers? They\u2019re less powerful, so the blade action needs to be extra smooth.\u2019 Or: \u2018We want to refuel in the field, but there\u2019s no power source out there. What can we do?\u2019 And sometimes, we come up with the idea ourselves because we\u2019ve spotted the opportunity for a better, more sustainable and more efficient solution. Or simply, a smarter one.<\/p>\n

Getting down to work<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Questions are never a problem for us; they\u2019re an invitation. Our product developers immerse themselves in the process, consulting with customers and testing prototypes. It can take weeks, months, even years of work. Or in other words, as long as necessary to find an effective solution.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the fruits of this process:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Agealube Battery Powered Hedge Trimmer Spray<\/strong>, specially developed for lighter machines with less power.<\/li>\n
  • Agealube Eco Heat,<\/strong> an odourless, fossil-free alternative for diesel heating.<\/li>\n
  • And of course: Ecomaxx,<\/strong> our clean, ethanol-free fuels developed especially for use in motorcycles, dirt bikes, classic cars and boats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Test, test, test<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    Because we develop everything with the end user\u2019s needs in mind, it goes without saying that we test them in the application for which they are intended. Sometimes we do this on site with our customers, and sometimes we test them on our own machines. After all, a good idea only becomes a great product once it\u2019s proved its worth… under all circumstances and conditions.<\/p>\n

    What comes next?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    Once the product meets our requirements and the customer is satisfied, it goes into production. We design the right packaging and facilitate clear communications and smooth distribution to ensure that the product is both technically sound and practical to use. <\/p>\n
